The latest CIES Football Observatory data reveals the top 10 most followed clubs worldwide. Real Madrid tops the list with 488 million followers, while Barcelona trails closely on 442 million. Manchester United ranks third with 239 million. Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich recorded the strongest growth over the past year, adding 16.1 million new followers for an 11% surge. Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Liverpool, Juventus, Chelsea, and Arsenal complete the top 10. Outside Europe, CR Flamengo (71.6 million), Al-Nassr (66 million), and Al-Ahly (60.1 million) dominate their regions. Instagram and Facebook each account for 31% of the combined top-10 followership, followed by TikTok, X, and YouTube.
