When Doing Good Feels Like a Crime: Shining Light in a Dark World
Too often, people call you foolish for always choosing what is right. They say it’s wiser to join in the regular wickedness but will later complain when nothing seems to work. We cannot use the world’s injustice as an excuse to do wrong. Being a light in the midst of darkness is never a crime. I care only about pleasing the Most High. As Romans 12:18 says, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” If doing good ever becomes illegal, I’ll gladly be called a notorious criminal for shining God’s love.
