Tinubu Pledges Solidarity with Gulf States Amid US–Israel–Iran Crisis
President Bola Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s solidarity with Gulf nations affected by the US and Israel conflict with Iran. He spoke at the State House in Abuja during a credentials ceremony for seven ambassadors and two high commissioners. He applauded the restraint shown by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan after recent attacks. He said Nigeria stands ready to support peace and stability in the region. Tinubu also outlined his foreign policy priorities. He said Nigeria will seek strategic partnerships to drive economic reforms, attract investment and promote regional integration under ECOWAS. He assured full cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and encouraged envoys to explore opportunities beyond Abuja. In response, the Ambassador of Qatar pledged to strengthen ties with Nigeria.
