PFIPC Director to Face Trial: Adeyemi Charged with Forgery and Impersonation

PFIPC Director to Face Trial: Adeyemi Charged with Forgery and Impersonation

The police will arraign Adeniyi Adeyemi, Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, at the Federal High Court on Tuesday. He and two others face eight counts, including forgery and impersonation, in a charge filed in November 2025. The case was adjourned earlier after Adeyemi fell ill during his plea. Witnesses listed by the prosecution include senior officials, civil servants and church figures. Key exhibits include a fake presidential appointment letter, police investigation report and related correspondence with the Central Bank and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Medicine after death. I still see Prince Adeyemi coming out strong on this. No honor among thieves; he was just doing the bidding of the oga on top.

It's interesting that charges include forgery and impersonation, but details on alleged evidence are still thin from reports.

Before we hail this as strong action, remember high-profile trials often drag on or collapse due to technicalities.

Citizens should track court schedules and demand transparency at each hearing to ensure this case doesn't stall without justification.
