Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has raised concerns about health and hygiene during on-screen kissing scenes. He said film productions should consider proper medical checks for cast members handling intimate roles. Speaking in an interview, Awobona recalled kissing an actress who had noticeable mouth odour during a shoot. He said the experience left him worried about possible infections and made him more cautious about such scenes. The actor added that poor oral hygiene among some performers can make intimate scenes uncomfortable for their co-stars.
