Apply Now: FG TVET ‘Earn While You Learn’ Scheme Offers ₦22,500 Monthly Stipend

Applications are now open for the Federal Government’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training programme (TVET) cohort two. Successful youths will receive ₦22,500 each month while learning practical skills in areas like construction, ICT, automotive work, agriculture, fashion, cosmetology, tourism, catering, leatherwork and creative media. Training runs for six months or one year at accredited centres in all 36 states and the FCT. Attendance is tracked biometrically and stipends are paid only to those who meet requirements. Participants must register with their National Identification Number and Bank Verification Number. The programme blends 80% hands-on training with 20% classroom learning and includes mentorship from experienced artisans. Graduates will earn a nationally recognised certificate. Earlier funding of ₦4.7 billion supports trainees and training centres, and over 90,000 applications were received in the first cohort.
