Ordega Names Ghana as Super Falcons’ Biggest WAFCON 2026 Threat
Super Falcons forward Francisca Ordega has identified Ghana’s Black Queens as Nigeria’s biggest threat at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Nigeria begin the defence of their title against Malawi on Tuesday. The 10-time champions will also face Zambia and Egypt in the group stage as they pursue an 11th WAFCON crown. Ordega said Ghana stood out after she watched one of their recent friendly matches. Ghana are seeking their first WAFCON title, while Nigeria have won all three previous WAFCON final meetings between the two sides, in 1998, 2002 and 2006.
