Lilo Aderogba marked a milestone by graduating from Eastern Illinois University with both an MBA and an MSc in Technology. Her custom stole, featuring the Nigerian flag and coat of arms, symbolised her journey from Nigeria to international academic success. Reflecting on her two-year journey, she shared that what began as a plan to add another qualification became a deeply personal and spiritual transformation. Describing it as “double mercy,” she finished her announcement with a heartfelt “Baba ese gan” (“Thank you so much, Father”). At the May 9 ceremony, Lilo paired royal blue academic regalia with a white button-down dress. She completed her look with long mahogany waves, a classic silver watch, and a French manicure as she celebrated this dual achievement.
