Mourinho Pledges Loyalty to Benfica Despite Real Madrid and Premier League Speculation — 1 of 3

José Mourinho has made it clear he wants to stay at Benfica beyond this season, saying his commitment doesn’t hinge on summer signings. Speaking after Benfica’s 2-0 win over Nacional, the manager dismissed rumours of a return to the Premier League or a move to Real Madrid. “My desire to stay at Benfica does not depend on the investment in the team,” he insisted. Despite a likely trophyless campaign, he said he’s eager to lead a full pre-season and fight for titles next year.

Benfica should focus on reinforcing weak areas and trusting a proven coach instead of chasing headlines about rival clubs and unnecessary speculation.
