Paul Onuachu Commits Future to Trabzonspor Despite €20m Bid

Paul Onuachu Commits Future to Trabzonspor Despite €20m Bid

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has insisted that Paul Onuachu wants to stay at the Turkish side this summer. Despite a reported €20 million offer from a Saudi club, the forward remains loyal to his team. Onuachu joined from Southampton last summer and enjoyed a stellar 2025/26 campaign. He finished as joint-top scorer in the Super Lig and played a key role in Trabzonspor’s Turkish Cup triumph by netting twice in the final. Doğan confirmed the €20 million bid was rejected and praised Onuachu’s love for the club. Trabzonspor would only consider selling if an exceptional offer arrives.

Trabzonspor should capitalize on this loyalty stance by securing a longer contract with performance incentives for Onuachu.
