CBN Shuffles Four Deputy Governors Across Key Portfolios
The Central Bank of Nigeria has reassigned all four of its deputy governors in a move confirmed on Monday. Philip Ikeazor now leads the policy directorate, replacing Muhammad Abdullahi. Dr Abdullahi has shifted to head corporate services while Emem Nnana Usoro leaves corporate services to supervise operations. Lamido Yuguda moves from operations to oversee financial system stability. The CBN offered no specific reasons for the redeployments, stating only that the changes aim to leverage senior officials’ experience and support evolving institutional priorities.
