Tinubu Approves Major Reshuffle, Names New Heads for Rural Electrification and Other Agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved a broad restructuring of federal agencies. He appointed former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Rural Electrification Agency. Major General Junaid Bindawa will lead the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission. Dr. Abuh Mohammed was named Director-General of the National Population Commission, while Dr. Akinola Odeyemi takes charge of the Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading Company. In total, 26 appointments were announced by the President’s office.
