Kwankwaso Camp Denies Hidden Alliance with Tinubu
The Kwankwasiyya Movement has dismissed claims that former Kano State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is secretly working to benefit President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. The rebuttal came after Sanusi Bature, the Kano State Government’s media director, suggested on national TV that Kwankwaso’s actions would ultimately favour the president due to past cooperation. Movement spokesperson Habeeb Saleh Mohammed called the allegation a desperate attempt to undermine Kwankwaso’s influence and insisted there is no undisclosed deal with the ruling party. He urged Nigerians to judge the facts themselves and reiterated that Kwankwaso remains transparent about his political path, with no secret engagement with the All Progressives Congress.
