Makinde Yet to Name 2027 Successor, CPS Dispels Rumour

Rumours claimed Governor Seyi Makinde had picked his preferred candidate for the 2027 election. His Chief Press Secretary, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, says no endorsement has been made. He told Daily Post the governor is still consulting on who will fly the party ticket. As of May 7, no candidate has been announced.
