Constituent Demands Results After Three Years of Excuses from Hon. Aguocha

Constituent Demands Results After Three Years of Excuses from Hon. Aguocha

A concerned constituent has called out Hon. Obi Aguocha for failing to deliver tangible projects in Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency. In an open letter dated June 10, 2026, the writer criticised the lawmaker for focusing on legal battles instead of tackling gully erosion and other urgent community needs. They pointed out that other representatives have visible projects, while Aguocha has only shared court records. The letter also urged him to secure the release of more than 300 constituents awaiting trial on questionable charges. It warned that voters will seek a more results-driven representative in 2027 if he cannot present real achievements. As of press time, Hon. Aguocha has not responded to the open letter.

What evidence have constituents gathered about Hon. Aguocha's actual project deliveries over the past three years?

I agree, constituents deserve a detailed breakdown of every project delivered and its impact over the last three years.

It seems legal battles have overshadowed urgent gully erosion issues, yet no visible interventions have been reported in Ikwuano/Umuahia.

Constituents could start documenting erosion hotspots with photos and forward them to multiple agencies for faster accountability.
