IPMAN Praises Prof. Charles Ofoegbu’s Appointment as Anambra Petroleum & Mineral Resources Commissioner
The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has welcomed the nomination of Prof. Charles Ofoegbu as Anambra’s Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources. Chinedu Anyaso, chairman of IPMAN’s Enugu Depot Community, says Ofoegbu’s mix of theory and practice in the oil and gas sector makes him “a square peg in a square hole” for the role. Ofoegbu previously served as Managing Director/CEO of the Anambra State Solid Minerals Development Company during Governor Soludo’s first term. IPMAN credits him with significant contributions to the state’s petroleum industry and expects his leadership to drive growth. Downstream operators are optimistic about improved distribution solutions and stronger collaboration under the new commissioner. IPMAN commends the governor’s choice and pledges continued support for Ofoegbu’s tenure.
