NUC Approves 12 New Programmes at Lens University Ilemona for 2026/2027

After a resource inspection on May 9, the National Universities Commission has approved 12 new full-time programmes for Lens University Ilemona. The June 16 approval letter, signed by the NUC’s Director of Academic Planning, greenlights courses for the 2026/2027 session. They include two law degrees, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Optometry, Doctor of Physiotherapy, and undergraduate degrees in Community Health Science, Radiology, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Marketing, Economics, and Finance. The university proprietors praised the government for expanding higher education and pledged to uphold the institution’s mandate to support national growth and development.
