Lagos Gears Up for 10th ICC Africa Arbitration & ADR Summit
Lagos will host the 10th ICC Africa Conference on International Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from June 3 to 5, 2026, at the Lagos Continental Hotel. Arbitration experts, lawyers, judges and policymakers from across the globe will gather to explore the future of dispute resolution in Africa. The conference opens with a special training session by the ICC Institute of World Business Law, focused on drafting enforceable awards. The main program will address cross-border disputes, award enforcement, investment arbitration, energy and infrastructure cases, and the role of technology in ADR. Speakers include Lateef Olasukanmi Fagbemi, Claudia Salomon, Dorothy Udeme Ufot, Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Afam Osigwe, Lawal Pedro and Funke Adekoya. ICC Nigeria says the event will strengthen arbitration practice and boost investor confidence while reinforcing Nigeria’s reputation as a leading hub for legal innovation in Africa.
