Unlock a Fully Funded Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2026
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program offers academically gifted African students full funding and leadership development for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Since 2014, it has supported hundreds of scholars and expanded its reach with a new phase in 2023. Scholars receive full tuition, accommodation, living expenses, leadership training, practical experience, community engagement opportunities, and post-graduation support. Eligibility requires strong academics, African citizenship or refugee status, financial need, leadership commitment, and age limits (under 29 for bachelor’s, under 35 for master’s). Some programs also require exam credentials such as WAEC, NECO, or English proficiency tests. Applications go through partner universities. Candidates must secure admission at a partner institution before applying and submit transcripts, a personal leadership statement, proof of financial need, and any required test scores.
