Triple H Praises Ex-Unilag Star Oba Femi as ‘Something Special’ Ahead of WrestleMania 42

Triple H Praises Ex-Unilag Star Oba Femi as ‘Something Special’ Ahead of WrestleMania 42

Nigerian powerhouse Oba Femi has earned high praise from WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H. In a recent interview, Triple H said he had “never seen anything like” Femi’s blend of charisma and raw power. Femi’s journey began as a shot put athlete in Lagos, where he studied at the University of Lagos. Inspired by bootleg DVDs of Triple H and The Undertaker, he crafted his own larger-than-life persona and rose through WWE’s ranks. Triple H was particularly impressed after Femi held his own in a heated exchange with veteran Paul Heyman. “This kid is something special,” he said, highlighting Femi’s mic skills and ring presence. Next up is a career-defining match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, where Femi will face Brock Lesnar. A victory could cement his status as the future of professional wrestling.

I'm not convinced his shot put past really shapes his WWE flair. Charisma seems more about performance coaching.

It's interesting that Triple H calls Femi unique, but lots of wrestlers have raw power and charisma claims before they debut.

I'm not convinced early hype means lasting success; plenty of athletes shine briefly but fade once the spotlight intensifies.

For aspiring wrestlers in Nigeria, studying Femi's training routine and focusing on both strength and showmanship could build a standout profile.
