Access ARM Pensions Withholds My Late Father’s Benefits – Advice Needed
My father passed away in 2024. After his burial, I applied at Access ARM Pensions in Uyo for his remaining pension balance. They asked for his bank certificate, account statement and a letter of administration, which I submitted by March 2025. Since then, Access ARM stopped his monthly payments and say they’re verifying my documents. I’ve emailed and called PENCOM but received no response or timeline for approval. By contrast, UBA confirmed his death with the National Population Commission and transferred his bank balance into the estate account I opened within weeks. I’m frustrated by Access ARM’s delays and lack of communication. What legal steps or actions can I take to compel Access ARM Pensions to release my father’s pension benefits? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
