Wike Shuts Dissolved FCT Federal Housing Sales Secretariat, Warns of Fraudsters

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has ordered the immediate closure of the secretariat of the dissolved Ad-hoc Committee on Sales of Federal Government Houses in Abuja. A new division under the FCT Administration's Department of Land Administration will now handle all matters relating to the sale of Federal Government houses. The secretariat had remained open to address issues arising from the committee's previous work. Residents and prospective buyers should direct all enquiries and complaints on these house sales to the Department of Land Administration. The FCT Administration also warned the public to beware of fraudsters posing as staff or members of the now-defunct committee and secretariat.
