Abiodun Clinches APC Ogun East Senatorial Ticket in Decisive Primary

Governor Dapo Abiodun has been confirmed the winner of the APC Ogun East Senatorial primary, securing 75,550 of 99,503 votes cast. His nearest rival, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, polled 398, while Bukola Braimoh received 29. The Returning Officer praised the peaceful conduct and described the process as “unparalleled.” In his acceptance speech, Abiodun thanked party members for their confidence, recalling his first contest for this seat 29 years ago. He vowed to deliver quality representation if elected and acknowledged security agencies, INEC officials, and party faithful for their support.
