UNIZIK and EMENITE Launch Seminar to Equip Architecture Students with Modern Building Technologies
Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s Architecture Department is collaborating with EMENITE Company Limited to offer a Product Seminar for Young Specifiers. The initiative will introduce students to cutting-edge roofing and building materials and bridge the gap between theory and professional practice. On July 7, 2026, EMENITE representatives and faculty members met with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, to secure institutional backing. The VC praised the partnership for boosting graduate employability and driving innovation through hands-on industry exposure. Dr. Lynda Chinwendu Mbadugha, Head of Architecture, emphasized that the seminar will cover emerging trends, innovative design concepts, and best practices. The Vice-Chancellor also invited EMENITE to renovate the roof of Garba Square using its products, showcasing material durability in a real-world setting.
