Denrele Edun Shares Alexx Ekubo’s Last Voice Note: Actor Checked on Him Despite His Own Battles

Denrele Edun has shared the last voice message he received from the late actor Alexx Ekubo. He revealed that Alexx was checking on his well-being even while wrestling with personal struggles of his own. He recalled meeting Alexx at the 2010 Mr Nigeria pageant, where the actor was first runner-up and determined to shine. Denrele also remembered how Alexx lifted everyone’s spirits on a recent film set in Port Harcourt, cracking jokes and calming the crew despite looking frail. Denrele fondly recounted the unique nicknames Alexx used, calling him “Rele” and “Nne.” He imagines Alexx reunited with his late friend Goldie Harvey, laughing and dancing together.
