Oxlade-Chamberlain Admits He Was Stunned by Salah’s Decision to Quit Liverpool

Celtic midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed he never saw Mohamed Salah’s Anfield exit coming. Salah will bring down the curtain on a nine-year spell at Liverpool this season. The Egyptian forward leaves as a club legend with more than 250 goals and countless individual and team honours. Oxlade-Chamberlain, speaking in a recent interview, said the decision took him by surprise. “I was a bit shocked because he is the type of guy that you just think will never stop,” Oxlade-Chamberlain explained. “What Mo has achieved at Liverpool is unprecedented.”
