Can Salvation Be Lost? Debunking “Once Saved, Always Saved”

Can Salvation Be Lost? Debunking “Once Saved, Always Saved”

Pastor Dolapo Lawal recently challenged the idea that salvation is permanent. She argues that a believer who willfully embraces sin can forfeit their standing before God. She cites Revelation 21:27, which states that nothing defiling or deceptive will enter the new Jerusalem. Fraud, drunkenness, indecent dressing, exam malpractice, sexual immorality, lying and other sins are listed as examples that disqualify. Lawal insists that any Christian who persists in these behaviours without repentance cannot expect to enter heaven. She warns that those who teach otherwise are leading believers astray and urges all who have ears to heed this warning before it is too late.
