Kaduna Troops Bust Human Trafficker, Rescue Three Teenage Girls

Troops of Operation Safe Haven arrested a suspected human trafficker in Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on May 3, 2026. The arrest happened around 1:27 p.m. at Madakiya during a routine security operation. Three teenage girls were found in the suspect’s vehicle and rescued safely. Preliminary investigations reveal the suspect planned to traffic the girls to Delta State. Authorities have taken all four into custody and are working to dismantle the trafficking network and secure the victims’ welfare.
