Accord Backers Warn Adeleke Against PDP-Style Divisions
The Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement has urged Governor Ademola Adeleke not to let internal disputes weaken Accord ahead of the 2027 election. They rejected claims by the state chairman that Adeleke’s endorsement of President Tinubu showed a lack of a presidential candidate. GHSM says the governor backed Tinubu before leaving the PDP and that Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim was already selected as Accord’s nominee in March 2026. The group warned that repeating PDP’s divisions could harm both the party’s unity and Adeleke’s re-election bid. It noted the dispute is now before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
