Kano Man Arrested After Married Lover Dies in His Home
A 41-year-old Kano resident, Lucky Isuma of Sabon Gari, is in police custody after his married lover collapsed and died in his home. Neighbours say Sandra, a mother of five from Abia state whose husband is alive, frequently visited Lucky without any sign of conflict. According to the police, Sandra requested a plate of food and was left unattended when Lucky went out to fetch it. She was found unconscious on a bed at around 10am last Saturday and rushed to Wase Teaching Hospital, where a doctor confirmed her death. No visible injuries were observed on her body. CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed that the Commissioner of Police has ordered a discreet investigation by the State Criminal Investigation Department. The public will be informed of the findings in due course.
