Zadok Yohanna Praises AIK for Shaping His Career Ahead of Premier League Move
Zadok Yohanna has thanked AIK Stockholm for their support during his development as a footballer. The 18-year-old completed a five-year transfer to Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, with the deal to be finalised when the next window opens. Yohanna recalled his first-team debut against IFK Göteborg in August 2025. He made 18 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring five goals and registering four assists. He earned his breakthrough after moving from Ikon Allah Football Academy in Nigeria to AIK’s U-19 side in 2025. The winger also received a Super Eagles call-up for the Unity Cup but was sidelined by injury. Yohanna says he will always carry the lessons learned at AIK into the next stage of his career.
