Abuja–Kaduba Highway 95% Complete with Solar Streetlights, Full Road Set for December 2026

The first 118 km of reinforced concrete pavement on the Abuja–Kaduna Highway is now 95% complete and fully fitted with solar street lighting. This ₦252 billion phase has over 80% of its funding secured under President Tinubu’s administration. Work on the remaining 164 km stretch in Kaduna State is progressing steadily. Valued at ₦502 billion, this section has 70% of its funds already disbursed and uses the same durable concrete standard. The entire Abuja–Kaduna road project remains on track for full delivery by December 2026. Once finished, it will showcase robust infrastructure and continuous solar illumination along its entire length.
