Media personality Daddy Freeze marked a milestone as his first daughter, Damiella, passed out from the NYSC program. He celebrated her academic journey, from secondary school to university, and now to national service. Sharing a video with his wife and daughter at the passing-out parade, Freeze reflected on the challenges of parenting and affirmed his love for his children. “Proud moment,” he wrote, congratulating Damiella and praising her mum. In recent weeks, several Nigerian celebrities have celebrated similar milestones. Actress Iyabo Ojo praised Lola Alao’s daughter at her university graduation. Veteran actress Bimbo Oshin shared her pride as her daughter graduated from Ladoke Akintola University. Actor Yemi Solade cheered his daughter’s success at Caleb University, while Jide Kosoko celebrated his son’s degree in Geography and Planning. Femi Adebayoh also expressed pride as his daughter completed her studies.

Encouraging parents to actively support their children during NYSC, like attending passing-out ceremonies and sharing guidance, can really boost their confidence.
