NDC Labels Protesters ‘Rented’, Rejects Fake Candidate Lists in Ebonyi Primaries
The NDC has dismissed recent protests and alleged candidate lists from social media, calling the demonstrators “rented protesters” sponsored by interests outside the party. It clarified that no official results or endorsements have been made for any position in Ebonyi State. Members and supporters are urged to ignore all unauthorised publications claiming to show candidate names or primary outcomes. The party warned that anyone organising protests, addressing press conferences, or speaking on its behalf without approval is acting against official NDC structures. It says all statements should await formal communication from party leaders. NDC leaders are finalising a harmonisation process to present candidates with the competence and broad acceptability needed for victory. The authentic list will be released through recognised party channels once completed.
