Makinde-Led PDP Faction to Hold 103rd NEC Meeting in Abuja

The PDP faction backed by Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde will convene its 103rd National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja on Monday. This follows a Supreme Court ruling that nullified last November’s national convention in Ibadan, where Tanimu Turaki was elected chairman. As a result, Turaki and other officers from that convention are no longer recognised by law. A notice signed by NEC members requires attendance from statutory committee members only. This includes PDP governors, national lawmakers, Board of Trustees members, state chairmen, former national officers and other designated stakeholders.
