Diplomats and Business Leaders Gather for 2026 100 Most Notable Africans Summit in Marrakech
The 2026 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership Summit wrapped up at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco. It drew diplomats, business executives, policymakers and development partners from across the continent. Organised by the DAVDAN Peace and Advocacy Foundation in collaboration with 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, the event ran under the theme “Uniting Africa’s Change Makers for Growth and Impact.” It provided a platform for dialogue on leadership, governance, entrepreneurship, peacebuilding and sustainable development. The summit fostered new partnerships among established and emerging African change-makers. A highlight was the presentation of awards to outstanding contributors such as Mrs. Aisha Hanan Buhari, Dr. Asu Kunemofa and Hon. Dozie Nwankwo. Organisers announced that the 2027 edition will be hosted in either Tanzania or Zimbabwe, continuing the summit’s mission to advance sustainable peace and inclusive growth across Africa.
