Dr. Law Mefor Returns to Anambra Information Ministry, Applauds Staff’s Warm Welcome
Dr. Law Mefor, the newly sworn-in Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation in Anambra State, officially resumed duties on May 18, 2026, after taking his oath of office from Governor Chukwuma Soludo. He was greeted at the Ministry’s Awka headquarters by Permanent Secretary Mrs. Obiageli Uchebo and staff, who sang welcome songs and held up handwritten messages celebrating leadership, service and a new vision for progress. Dr. Mefor thanked the team for their dedication and explained that a post-swearing-in meeting with the governor delayed his arrival. He urged staff to “communicate faster, clearer and more truthfully” to keep Ndi Anambra informed. Mrs. Uchebo praised his record in strategic communication and pledged full support. A full-staff meeting is set for May 19 to outline expectations and the ministry’s expanded mandate in value reformation.
