The Federal High Courts in Abuja and Lagos affirmed the legitimate leadership’s authority to fill the governance gap. Dr (Mrs) Rose Atarhe-Abuh was sworn in as Chairperson, Barrister Felix Orere as Secretary, and eight other trustees joined the board. Prof Natufe praised Okpe nationals at home and abroad for their strategic advice and financial contributions. He emphasized the union’s role in promoting good governance, the rule of law, and a restructured federalism that respects every ethnic nationality.
