Arsenal have agreed a £34 million deal to sign 24-year-old Greece winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge. This move follows Leandro Trossard’s departure to Turkish side Besiktas. Tzolis returns to English football after a three-year development spell with Norwich City and loan stints at Twente and Fortuna Düsseldorf. He impressed in Belgium, scoring 22 goals for Club Brugge last season. The acquisition does not affect Arsenal’s ongoing interest in Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers. Tzolis is set to provide fresh attacking options on the left wing ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Makes sense for Arsenal to backfill quickly. Tzolis looks like a promising addition after Trossard's exit.

Spending big on a young winger with mixed loan performances at Norwich seems risky if they just parted with Trossard's experience.

I get your concern, but Tzolis still has upside and pace that can grow at Arsenal.

I'm not convinced a clean slate in English football automatically means he'll adapt better than at Norwich City.

Arsenal should integrate him gradually and rely on proven midfield creativity to support Tzolis's adjustment to Premier League pace.
