Torreira Shocks World by Naming Osimhen in Elite Top Three
In a recent interview with Turkish media, Galatasaray midfielder Lucas Torreira hailed Victor Osimhen as one of the three best players on the planet. He raised eyebrows by leaving out stars like Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Vinícius Júnior. Torreira placed Osimhen alongside Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Federico Valverde. This season, the Super Eagles striker has fired in 19 goals and laid on seven assists in 29 appearances, helping Galatasaray top the Super Lig. Despite criticism over playing in Turkey, Osimhen’s finishing remains world-class. He is currently recovering from arm surgery but aims to feature in the final weeks of the campaign. The 27-year-old is also two goals shy of Nigeria’s all-time scoring record.
