Unilorin Quota Breach Leaves 44 MBBS Graduates Stranded
In August 2025, 194 students at the University of Ilorin fulfilled all requirements for the MBBS degree, but the school’s official MDCN quota was set at 150. To comply on paper, Unilorin forwarded only its top 150 graduates for induction in November, leaving 44 doctors unable to register for Medical Housemanship or participate in NYSC nearly a year after graduation.
