Anambra Governor Sends 17 Commissioner Nominees to Assembly, Retains Dr. Law Mefor

The Anambra State House of Assembly has received 17 commissioner nominees from Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for screening and confirmation. The Speaker announced the list in plenary and referred it to the Committee on Screening and Election Matters. Nominees cover portfolios including Agriculture, Education, Health, Finance, Justice, Works and Infrastructure, Women Affairs, Youth Development and more. Dr. Law Mefor returns as Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation. This marks the start of the formal process to form a new executive council, pending legislative approval.
