Tinubu Sends 20 Trucks of Rice and Fertilizer to Each State to Ease Hardship
The federal government has delivered 20 trucks of rice and 20 trucks of fertilizer to each of Nigeria’s 36 states. The Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement in the Northwest announced this on Arise TV on May 13. He said the rice distribution will help households cope with rising food prices. The fertilizer deliveries aim to support local farmers and boost crop production. In Kano state alone, 20 tractor-trailer loads of fertilizer have already reached farming communities. The aide noted that these measures are already easing the cost of staples in many markets. He believes they reflect the government’s commitment to tackling current economic challenges.
