African Union Youth Volunteer Corps: Fully Funded Pan-African Service Program
The African Union Youth Volunteer Corps offers young African professionals a fully funded 12-month placement in another AU member state. Volunteers gain hands-on experience in policy, leadership and development while contributing to Agenda 2063. Benefits include full pre-deployment training, an economy-class return ticket, monthly stipend, health insurance and an AU service passport. Volunteers also receive separation allowances, mentorship, and opportunities to engage in continental policy initiatives and network with peers across Africa. Applicants must be 18–35, hold a post-secondary qualification and have at least one year each of professional and volunteer experience. Proficiency in an AU working language and strong communication, teamwork and IT skills are required. Multilingual ability is an advantage. To apply, use the official AU CV template available on the AU careers portal. Complete your online profile and upload your CV, ID or passport bio page, highest qualification certificate and a recent recommendation letter. Include a cover letter outlining your motivation, key skills and why you are the best candidate. Only complete applications will be considered.
