JAMB Launches Change of Institution and Course Exercise for 2026 UTME

JAMB Launches Change of Institution and Course Exercise for 2026 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has opened a fresh window for candidates of the 2026 UTME to switch their chosen institutions or programmes. Candidates can proceed to any JAMB-accredited CBT centre nationwide to make changes to their institution or course preferences. Updates must be carried out only at approved centres to prevent errors or fraudulent activities. The Board also announced that printing of original 2026 UTME result slips will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026. These slips feature candidates’ passport photographs and are required for post-UTME screenings, admission processing, and clearance. This exercise allows candidates to realign their choices with available admission cut-off marks and their performance in the exam.

Is it really fair to expect all candidates to reach a CBT centre when some live hours away?

Candidates should plan ahead, locate the nearest accredited CBT centre now, and schedule their institution or course change as soon as possible.
