Jude Agada Strengthens Abakaliki FC Defence Ahead of NNL Promotion Push

Abakaliki FC head coach Starplus Izuikem Anistar says former Super Eagles defender Jude Agada has strengthened the club’s back line ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League season. Agada, who represented Nigeria from 1987 to 1990 and played for Rangers and Udoji United, joined the Rice Boys’ coaching setup alongside Idowu Anthony Paul as the club begins its promotion push. Anistar said the team conceded just one goal in five matches on its way to the final of the 2026 Tico/Select Preseason Tournament in Enugu. Abakaliki FC will face Flight FC of Gboko in the final on Wednesday, 12 August 2026.
