Ogun Police Recover Stolen Lexus RX300, Promise Progress in Oyesiku Investigation

Ogun Police Recover Stolen Lexus RX300, Promise Progress in Oyesiku Investigation

The Ogun State Police Command has recovered the Lexus RX300 that went missing from the home of the late broadcaster Ms. Kitan Oyesiku. The vehicle was secured overnight and is now held as evidence in the ongoing inquiry. State Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni visited the residence on Sunday to receive briefings and inspect the site of the incident. He reviewed early findings and assessed resources deployed by detectives handling the case. Police Public Relations Officer DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi said the recovered SUV will help unravel the circumstances of Ms. Oyesiku’s death and that of her security guard. He confirmed the command’s commitment to identifying, arresting and prosecuting those responsible. Commissioner Ojajuni expressed sympathy for the grieving family and assured residents of sustained efforts until the perpetrators are brought to justice. The command has promised to update the public as the investigation unfolds.

This recovery sounds promising, yet past returns of stolen vehicles rarely led to solid breakthroughs. The evidence may sit untouched unless investigators push further details.

I'm not convinced the Commissioner's visit changes much. Public attention might fade before any real suspects face charges.

Local residents should document any suspicious activity around crime scenes and share info promptly with the Ogun police to aid this ongoing investigation.
