APC at Risk of Collapse in Niger State Before 2027, Warns Party Chieftain

Ibrahim Idris, a senior APC chieftain in Niger State, has called on President Tinubu and National Chairman Yilwatda to step in and resolve a growing internal crisis. He warned that selfish actions by a few individuals threaten to fracture the party he helped build. He claimed former commissioners, ex-appointees, serving lawmakers and grassroots leaders feel sidelined and are considering leaving the APC. Consultations are already under way with community leaders and stakeholders to form a broad coalition. Idris stressed that politics belongs to the people and urged swift intervention to save the party’s foundation before the 2027 elections.
