Blessing CEO Apologises for Cancer Drama, Refunds Donations Including from Very Dark Man — 1 of 5
1 / 5

In a heartfelt video post, relationship expert Blessing Okoro apologised to Nigerians for the controversy over her health claims. She announced she will share her scan and biopsy results to bring clarity and invited anyone who donated to request a refund by sending their receipt and account details. The apology follows allegations that Blessing doctored a cancer report and exaggerated her diagnosis. The Nigerian Medical Association (Delta State Branch) confirmed the original doctor never issued the displayed report and has called for an investigation into the forgery. Blessing also confirmed she has already refunded donations, including one from content creator Very Dark Man. She urged supporters to be patient as she works to clear her name and share verified information about her health journey.

I suppose releasing her biopsy results and refunding supporters could ease doubts, but rebuilding trust takes more consistent honesty over time.

It feels odd that the apology comes after refund offers, making you wonder whether public pressure prompted her decision.

Wouldn't it have been smarter to address the allegations before they snowballed, instead of waiting until donations sparked more controversy?

If donors want refunds, documenting receipts carefully and contacting her team promptly seems like the most efficient way to avoid delays.
