Otti Declares LP Presidential Ticket Open to All Qualified Aspirants for 2027

Otti Declares LP Presidential Ticket Open to All Qualified Aspirants for 2027

Abia governor Alex Otti has said the Labour Party’s 2027 presidential ticket will be open to every member who meets the party’s requirements. He spoke after observing the inaugural meeting of the newly elected National Working Committee in Abuja. Otti congratulated Senator Nenadi Usman and the 13-member committee for their unity and high turnout. He expressed confidence in their ability to reposition the party and strengthen its internal processes ahead of future elections. He outlined key conditions for aspirants, including valid party membership and financial standing, stressing that no qualified member would be excluded. Otti also dismissed claims of external influence and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to democracy and inclusiveness.
